5th Grade Out of School Suspensions

The number of students who receive out-of-school suspensions varies according to school level and grade. System-wide across the last three academic school years, data suggests that in elementary school more 5th grade students are suspended; in middle school more 7th graders are suspended; and in high school more 9th graders are suspended. The following three tables outline the number of suspended students across these three grades with a breakdown by race and gender of those receiving more of the suspensions.
