Community Profile
The Community Profiles are annual reports to Chatham County, Georgia on the condition of children and families using data and information that we collect from our partner agencies and other interested entities. These Profiles report on the indicators that have been adopted and monitored by the Authority’s collaborative board. The indicators that are reported and tracked in these Profiles are organized in a similar manner to the benchmarks used by the state-wide Family Connection Partnership, in which the YFA represents Chatham County.
This 2006 Community Profile marks the fifteenth year that the Chatham-Savannah Youth Futures Authority has reported to the Chatham County, Georgia community on the indicators that have been adopted and monitored by the Authority's collaborative board. We recognize that some indicators established in the earlier years of the YFA have been eliminated or modified. However, illustrated in this year's Profile will be a reporting of the indicators that have remained relatively constant over years to allow the reader to identify trends. We also strive to incorporate new data and information that have relevance to the customary reported indicators, and you will notice this additional data captured in this new Profile report.
